As of November 5, 2008 I own a Springfield XD 9mm Pistol and a Remington Model 870 Express Combo, (26" Barrel 12GA Rem Full Choke & 20'' fully rifled, rear- sighted deer barrel). I have purchased 10 (ten) extra 9 mm magazines and plenty of ammo for both. I am not nor have I ever been a member of the NRA, until now. I have a concealed weapons permit. I live in the Rocky Mountains so I have lots of room to hide things, like bodies. I came to this decision for a couple of reasons. One is the guy in charge right now has no clue and the other being that the sh*t is going to hit the fan in such a way everybody is going to get a face full. You can do whatever you think will best suit you. The part about the police not having a responsibility to protect you is true. There is no law that requires them to do so. If there were, then two thirds of the population would have to be police in order to protect each and every citizen twenty four hours a day.
