Do payday loans hurt your credit?

We recently took out a payday loan to pay our rent on time. We didn’t have to undergo a credit report. Would it have shown up on my credit anyway? Would it hurt my credit?
We have paid it in full, 3 days after taking it out. We have the money, it’s just that sometimes my husband gets paid a couple of days after rent is due. We borrowed 0 and paid a fee of . We saved because we paid it off early.

  1. Payday lenders do not pull your credit report. They go on your bank statements and paycheck stubs to ascertain whether they want to lend to you and how much they will lend to you. It will not hurt your credit or show up on your report at all.

The only time payday lenders would show up on one’s credit is when you default on and it gets sent to collections.

  2. No…..not unless you default on the loan and it goes to collections.

  3. Payday loans are like a cancer. And like a cancer that destroys your physical health, payday loans destroy your financial health. They will eventually destroy your credit if you don’t pay them back. You didn’t have the money to pay the rent when it was due. You’ll find out that you may not have the money to pay off the loan when it becomes due. Look at how much you borrowed and how much you have to pay back. Don’t forget to include the processing fee along with the interest. You borrow $500 for two weeks and have to pay back $700. You would have done better with a loan shark.

  4. Many individuals who desperately need extra cash to get them through a difficult time do not take advantage of instant approval loans because they believe that their bad credit will keep them from qualifying. Fortunately, even individuals with bad credit or no credit can qualify for a fast loan. There are a couple ways to qualify for instant cash advance approval so that you can get the cash you need right away.

Although some loan companies will perform credit checks before they agree to lend you money, others do not. If you know that your credit is bad, you will need to find a loan company that will loan you money in spite of this.
