Looking for a personal finance organizer system?

I’m looking for a simple way to keep track of my budget and finances etc….something I can carry with me because I’m not very good with bringing home information to put on the computer. I do better with writing things down in a book or something. So I’m looking for some sort of personal finance organizer….perfect for my purse…anybody have any ideas?

  1. Quicken + online access + use credit card for as many purchases as possible = very little data entry.

Quicken can download credit card transactions directly from a ton of credit card companies so you won’t need to input anything except cash and checks. (I think it can also download checking activity for certain banks)

Another option if you have a PDA is Pocket Quicken – never used it but you could probably input purchases as you make them so you wouldn’t have to bring things home.
