What yoga like?How does is make u stronger? Yoga or Tai chi?
i dont get how yoga makes u stronger…but yea im thinking of taking it for fun as an excersice.and to imporve my strength…
also yoga or tai chi?
i have a crooked back so… im also thinking of taking it to improve my back. and im 14.
also yogo or tai chi? but i can’t find any tai chi stores around here .

  1. Tai Chi is a slower exercise. It deals with the movement of chi through the body – chi meaning energy. Both exercises make you strong but if you’re looking to help your back, I’d suggest yoga because there are lots of yogic poses that bring the back into a nice stretch. Careful not to round your back because that would be contra-indicative to what you want to accomplish.
    Also, when you enroll for your yoga class, be sure to inform your instructor that you’re having a back problem. If he/she is a good instructor, they’ll try to find a way to help you further.

  2. Yoga and Tai Chi strenghten muscles using slow controled movements. It is the holding of these movements in Yoga that trains your muscles. I would recommend a beginner level yoga class for strength more than tai chi as you will notice a difference faster and I beleive tai chi to be a more meditative excersize
